Voting is happening now!
I've spent a lot of time reading what people think, listening to interviews and making up my mind. Here is my list and why.
1. Sabriz Adoudel. I know CODE. isn't popular but I do feel someone to look out for the highsec content creators is a good thing and he stands no chance without being in peoples #1 spot so money where your mouth is time. I find a lot of highsec content creators end up going too far in the wrong direction but from Sabriz's capstable interview I got the impression that he ants interesting game play for everyone. That was what clinched it for me in making him #1.
2. Sugar Kyle. At this point I don't think her credentials need defending. She's done n amazing job. Everyone knows it. She was going to be my #1 but when I thought bout it, having Sabriz on my ballot but not #1 made no sense as He doesn't stand a good chance of getting in and that means Sugar being my #2 is almost as good as a #1.
3. Ashterothi. This was a tough call. I was going to put Corbexx here but Ash has recently played in FW space where I live and hunt a lot and has moved into wormholes where I daytrip a lot. On top of that the EVE lore is amazing and having someone champion that is too good an opportunity to miss out on.
4. Corbexx. I love Wormholes and daytrip quite often. He's a proven track record of doing good by them and works well with Sugar. He needs to be on my ballot and so here he is.
5. Jayne Fillon. I've only just started getting into NPSI so I couldn't make it the focus of my ballot but I am getting involved and it seems like a great thing that could do with someone championing it's cause. On paper at least Jayne is clearly the man for the job.
6. June Ting. If I enjoyed Nullsec and blocks etc I'd have June higher. I was really impressed by her interview. I love newbros and someone to look out for them is good. Compared to the other NPE candidates I thought she was the best.
7. Steve Ronuken. I enjoy some industry on the side and 3rd party tools are cool. He just isn't someone I can get excited about so he isn't higher on my list. He deserves to get on though as he is basically the only person doing this with any competency.
8. Mike Azeriah. I like Mike, he makes a good foil to Sabriz I think. However he's been on for a while and he comes from the wrong side of the fence for my play style. I guess I worry about what he has left to contribute but like his contributions so far.
9. Psianh Auvyander. I love Mercs, I wish it was a more fun profession in EVE. I hope Psianh gets on and can influence some good Merc friendly changes. It's agin something I enjoy in EVE but isn't my game play and so I can't justify a representative higher on my list.
10. Cagali Cagali. I like Cagali for the same reasons I like June. I just wasn't as impressed by his campaign so as a runner up newbro candidate he gets on by at the bottom of the list.
11. Bam Stroker. I enjoyed a lot f wht BAm had to say about community and out of game aspects of EVE. I don't attend meets though and I don't think he offers much for what I want from a candidate. I care too much about the spaceships in space shooting each other part of the game.
12. Manfred Sideous. I guess I need someone with good ideas about Sov-null to make sure it all works out and Manfred impressed me the most. I just struggle to care about nullsec.
13. Gorski Car. I don't now what to make of Gorski. Something about him makes me wary of him even though he stands for a lot of the game play that I really enjoy and what knowledgeable people on the CSM representing.
14. I had an empty slot so put on Chance Ravine because CSM match said he was a good match for me and teh capstable guys were pretty positive about him. It this point my vote isn't really going to end up being spent on him but hey it's gotta mean something right?
ION: I quit FW, formed my own 1 man corp, have been pirating, daytripping into wormholes, establish industry chains, station trading, flying in NPSI fleets, donating ships as prizes for NPSI fleets and generally having a great time. Only thing that isn't so great is that my corp infiltration has stalled.

Update!
So it has been a while and a lot has happened. The mining corp I infiltrated joined an alliance, moved to npc null, the alliance had drama and moved back to highsec. I did a bunch of 'put me in leadership' stuff and got roles. This lead to ne discovering that the corp has nothing to steal. Less than 200mill and I can only get at maybe 20mill with the roles I have.
still onward and upward. I'm now working on a community project to bring together the active highsec miners into one place. It should improve their game play and if I'm lucky actual theft might happen at some point.

Strange new directions
So I am rapidly beginning to feel like infiltrating this industrial corp was one of the best things I have ever done in EvE. The corp just got wardecced. Now if the corp folded due to a wardec then what would I steal? Nothing. So I have set about doing everything I can to make the corp survive and prosper. To that end I have been gathering Intel on the wardeccing corp, messaging diplomats and CEO in Corps that would have dealt with this sort of thing before for advice (and getting some help sent as an added benefit),offering advice to new players and fitting up someships to fight back with.
The wardec also seems to have invigorated the corp. People have been online, chatting about the dec and what we should do, which has lead into more general socialising. I'm hopeful that this little highsec industrial corp will grow up to be something, if not significant,at least worthwhile. My only concern is that in the process it might draw me away from my criminal intent.
Anyway, with all the effort I have been obviously putting in to helping the corp out I suspect some roles aren't too far away. Diplomat and recruitment seem like easy things to shoot for and from their Director. Of course none of that is worth a damn if the corp doesn't have many assets and right now it doesn't have a lot.

Newbro help.
I took my corp infiltrator to a rookie system today. I'm aiming for a position in the corp as a recruiter. I sat mining in a venture convoing new players, chatting about the game, helping them out and directing them to the infiltrated corp if they are interested in Industry and elsewhere if not.
I really enjoyed it. Helping out new players is really rewarding. I think I'm going to do it some more. The fact that it also helps me appear as an active and invested part of the group is also great.
Later on the CEO logged on and had a bit of a discussion about the direction of the corp. I'm pushing fr wormholes, some pvp on the side etc. This discussion means I think my goal has slightly changed. I'm still gonna steal anything not nailed down but while I work towards that I want to try and get the corp to be a decent corp worth having around in EvE.

Rebranding and espionage
With only one account active 'Many hats' is no longer a good name. Instead I am going to focus on the piratical adventures of Jake and Shizuka. With that in mind I have re-named the blog Bloodfriends.
I really should get around to starting up the Bloodfriends project that I detailed a few posts ago. Learning to FC is something I have wanted to do for years but have never actually done. Getting newbros into lowsec and improving my own skills,it's got to be a good thing right?
While I haven't been doing that I have placed an alt into an unsuspecting mining corp with the intention of stealing anything I can get access to and blowing up everything I can get away with shooting. For now I am playing along at being the eager newbro in the hopes they will let me into a position of leadership. This has involved a lot of chatting and more mining than is good for me. Still once I can get some gas harvesters on a venture I'll be in a better position to try and convince the corp leadership that a POS in a wormhole is a great idea and that making me a director so I can anchor it and keep it fueled would be wise.

Back after an unexpected break
My computer broke and I couldn't justify replacing it straight away as i could do everything I needed to do with other devices. As such I have only just got back in game having replaced my machine with money I got for Christmas.
My first night playing was mostly spent on Jake getting my market trading back up and running and then remembering I could run the Pirate epic arcs again so heading out to re-run Angel Sound. While it has lost some of it's appeal since running it the first time it was still much better than the mind numbing experience that is highsec lvl4's. I'm going to have to set up a new interceptor to run them with though as the Malediction I had set up has lost it's RoF bonus and that means some of the missions are agonisingly slow to run.
With my appetite whetted by a bit of carebearing Today I jumped in a couple of frigates and roamed Amarr/Minmatar FW space looking for fights. Amamake is a delight without PL in it. Two great fights back to back.
I started out in a brawling AB/MSE Merlin. Spotting a Tormentor on scan I warped in only to be jumped on by the Tormentors friends in a Kestrel and Condor. While I lost I was doing well enough that had the Tormentor not had friends I think it would have been a close fight and I was quick enough getting my pod out. You should rarely lose a pod in Lowsec and one of my fears when returning after a break is that my reflexes will be blunted and decision making impaired enough that I'll lose things I really shouldn't. This time I was fine.
The fight was a good one and having spotted that the Condor seemed t be kite fitted while the rest brawlers I grabbed a blaster Atron in the hopes of pulling the Condor off the group and scoring a kill. That fight never happened. I found the group on Dscan and warped in at range, just as they warped into a plex for a fight. However a Brave Newbies pilot in a slasher was 120k off me idle. I burned in and he was clearly looking for a fight as he engaged rather than warp off. Shortly after a Navy Slicer warped in. I suspected that I was in for another no kill loss but I was committed. This time I was able to last long enough to grab the Slasher, followed by slow reactions resulting in an avoidable loss. The Slicer didn't have me pointed so I went to warp out but hit approach rather than warp. as I realised my mistake the Slicer popped me. The main things I learnt from this is that I need to resize the tab with the warp button on it so I can see the symbols better and that I needed to remember to pulse my AAR rather than just switch it on and forget about it As I am sure I over repped a lot in that fight.
I grabbed another Atron, having remembered why I loved the ship so much and headed out once more. I didn't see much I could easily go for for a while as it seems that there a very few plexes open in the space I used to roam inmost of the time. Then just as i was warping out of a plex I had hoped to fight a Punisher in, a Slasher landed on grid. I was too low to cancel warp, but it was the same pilot from before and he wanted another go. I return to the plex and we go another round. In teh previous fight I had struggled to apply damage but I had only taken out CNAM, so when I picked up my new Atron I had thrown in some null and this proved a good idea as It allowed me to take down this slasher with much less trouble. I topped this off with managing to catch the pod... I thought about ransoming it but in the end took the kill. I scooped the loot and docked up.
All in all 2 for 3 and winning the isk war. Given I'm rusty I can complain with that and most importantly I had a lot of fun. I think later on I will take Shizuka out. With the 20 days dual training everyone has been given I have started training up some skills so I can pirate with her in lowsec. I'm thinking I might put her in the Gal/Cal warzone so I can experience both warzones whenever I want. That and I need to play around with the manual controls that have been added.

Bloodfriends
I've not been pvping much lately. No particular reason, just not had the time and inclination at the same time. What I have been doing is preparing to try and run some open fleets for newbros, maybe even recruit a few new faces for the corp.
To that end I have some ships and skill books ready to hand out, a chat channel set up with the hope that I might build a little community of newbie pirates, a vague plan of where to roam and a growing sense of terror regarding actually leading a fleet.
I really want to lead fleets but I always back out. I'm an introvert and I never feel that I know the game well enough... Regardless of having played for so long and having internalised a lot of the learning cliff.
other than that I've been collecting ships, hanging out in rp channels and coming up with ideas for goals I can set myself and so create some drive within the game.
