I've not been pvping much lately. No particular reason, just not had the time and inclination at the same time. What I have been doing is preparing to try and run some open fleets for newbros, maybe even recruit a few new faces for the corp.
To that end I have some ships and skill books ready to hand out, a chat channel set up with the hope that I might build a little community of newbie pirates, a vague plan of where to roam and a growing sense of terror regarding actually leading a fleet.
I really want to lead fleets but I always back out. I'm an introvert and I never feel that I know the game well enough... Regardless of having played for so long and having internalised a lot of the learning cliff.
other than that I've been collecting ships, hanging out in rp channels and coming up with ideas for goals I can set myself and so create some drive within the game.

Update
It's been a couple of months since I posted. This is due to a bunch if reasons. I've moved to a new city and had a lot to do getting my home sorted, starting a new job and so on. I also found I was playing too much, neglecting rl a little. To compensate I have dropped my second account, and am going back to the idea that trying to plex my accounts just sucks the enjoyment out if EVE. The downside if this is the funky new industry changes gave gone live and my Industry character is inactive. It also means my suicide ganking days are up... Unless I use a string of trial accounts as scouts. I might do that but I'm not sure.
thus has however lead to me training some basic industry stuff on Jake, so I can try my hand at building some t1 hulls.
Anyway I'm back into the swing of things. I've greatly enjoying the shift in the fw meta that has seen more cruiser sized hulls about. I can't justify flying my Condor hunting Atron much as I'm not seeing that many Condors out and about which us a shame as I really enjoyed it. I've also nit been on enough to work out what my new go to ship will be.
I've also been enjoying hunting clone soldier tags. I actually prefer it now you can't use a stealth bomber. I've been using an Enyo and feel it's a good fit for this type of ratting.

Third and final hat
So I've had introduced the socially acceptable faces of my eve life. Now it's time to expose the darkside.
My Third character is Shizuka Mena, a suicide ganking alt who is a part of Code. I know shocking right, that someone who spends most of there time soloing through lowsec, trading and occasionally getting involved n industry stuff could ever want to gank miners for fun and profit.
Well I do. It's taught me loads of stuff about how eve works as well. Surviving in highsec while -10 takes setup and makes you keep certain things in mind while flying. And pulling off a successful gank requires skill regardless of what some people would have you believe. The fact that all of the skill is in the setup and once shots have been fired it's all over is beside the point.
I fail some of my ganks as well. This is because I tend to judge things on how it feels and don't crunch the numbers as much as I should. There is a very slim margin for error in miner ganking and so one wrong step leaves you down a cat and looking stupid.
still I don't gank often, so I haven't gotten it down to a well honed craft.

Another hat
So I consider myself to have 2 mains and 4 alts, two of which see a lot of use. My second main is who I am going to introduce today.
Meet Lucie Devlin. You never guess she was connected to Jake Devlin I'm sure. Lucie began life as an industrial alt whom I skilled for invention. However after a while I got board of tha and skilled her for mining and manufacturing and then I started on some combat skills and then some scanning and exploration stuff. Mostly I used her to make some isk here and there but I'm terrible ar making isk.
The real turning point for Lucie that turned her from an alt into a main is when I got interested in w-space. With her scanning skills it made a lot more sense to leave Jake where he was in FW and take Lucie into what wormholes. So that's what I did. She now flies with Brave Collective giving me oppurtunities to experience sov-null, coalition politics, large fleets and all that stuff that you just don't get in FW as well as letting me experience wormholes without any elitism. The other unexpected joy of being in Brave is that I get to hang out un the teaching channel and help out newbros which us a lot of fun and I learning stuff from other people there too.
last time I gave you a battle Nereus fit, this time I think we should go with a dual-rep condor. This flies a lot like a breacher but people don't expect a condor to brawl.
High slots
3x Rocket launcher II with rockets to suit target
Mid slots
1mn experimental afterburner
X5 stasis web
J5b scambler
Medium ancillary shield booster
Low slots
Damage control II
Small ancillary armour repairer
Rigs
Damage and rate of fire rigs (I can never remember what they are called)

The first of many hats
Hello,
So I've been thinking about starting an EvE Online blog for a while so here it is. I apologise in advance for my rather poor writing.
So I'm going to talk about the exploits of my mains. I have more than one main in so far as I go through phases of wanting to spend a lot f time doing one thing and then switch for something new. This means I sometimes treat different characters as my main at different times.
Right now I'm going to introduce you to Jake Devlin. He's my original character and by far the character I have with the most skill points (SP) He began life as a care bear in highsec grinding missions. Not only that I did it really badly. However a series of events lead to me joining Beagle Corp, learning a little about PVP, leaving Beagle and spending some time being a full time pirate (again badly) before finally joining my real life friend (El Yatta) in Mercenary Forces and actually learning how to PVP. Mercenary Forces fell apart, I tried in vain to run my own corp, realised that I don't (didn't?) have the real life skills to run a corp and so ended up in Ushra'Khan where I am today enjoying the easy access to solo PVP that Faction warfare provides. I round that out with FW missions and Station trading to make isk that I welp especially whenever Flyreckless have a Fight Reckless Club challenge (my favourite of which was the industrial challenge, I love my battle Nereus)
So there we are, one of Kleuthans EvE hats
You know what I guess I'll give you that Battle Nereus fit just to finish off

1x Medium electrochemical capacitor injector with Federation navy cap booster 400's

2x Small armour repairer II
